Beaded Tassel

Wie schon angedacht hab ich es nun ausprobiert. Schön sieht die Lederquaste mit der Peyotekappe aus. Frei geperlt ohne Anleitung. Der Stein ist ein gefärbter Howlith. Die Quaste ist inklusive Karabiner ca 35 cm lang, aus feinstem Ziegenvelours handgemacht und baumelt wunderschön an der Tasche!

I planned to make a beaded tassel too and this is the result. I think it's beautiful with the Peyote stitch cap. Made without a pattern. The nugget is coloured Howlite. The tassel has a total length of about 35 cm inluding the clasp, handmade of finest goat velours and is swinging beautifully on the bag!

Designer inspired...

Nachdem der Lieblingstaschendesigner es als "must have" bezeichnet, lange bunte Lederquasten an der Tasche baumeln zu haben (was mir persönlich für den Sommer richtig gut gefällt) und ich mich aber nicht dazu bringen kann, für so ein Teil 340,- Euro auszugeben (ja, die wollen wirklich so viel Geld nur für die Quaste, ohne Fuchs) hab ich mich selbst an die Sache gemacht. Kostenpunkt über den Daumen gefühlte 5% davon. Weil ich es mir wert bin ;o) Da werden mit Perlen behübschte auch noch kommen...

As my favourite bag label tells it is a "must have" to wear funny colourful leather tassels on the bags (and I really like them), but I can't bring myself to pay 340,- Euro for them (yes, they really want that much just for the tassel, without the foxtail) I made them myself. Costs about 5% of retail. And this is worth it. I think I'll make some beaded ones too...
